Pilates was invented by Joseph Pilates at the beginning of the 20th century. This method allows us to develop deeper/hidden muscles, improve the body posture, balance the muscular tone and relax our joints.
Why is Pilates good for you?
We can use this method to maintain our physical fitness.
To improve our physical condition, particularly for people who have not exercised in a long time.
To recover from an injury or after childbirth.
To keep moving gently during pregnancy.
Take care of your body, listen to it and be aware of your needs!
"I began my regular Pilates practice in 2009, and Elsa is my favorite Pilates teacher ever. She is so inspiring and encouraging. She brings both creativity and a lifetime of dance training and knowledge about how the body works to her lessons. She's also bright and funny--which helps when she makes you push yourself to your own personal best"
“ Absolutely the best Pilates instructor I’ve ever had. She really knows her stuff. She clearly explains and gracefully demonstrates the movements linking them to the muscles needed for the various exercises. She is gentle, thorough, empathetic and fun. I love her classes.”
“ Elsa is wonderful at motivating her students. Her classes are challenging, but never overwhelming no matter your level of Pilates. She always has a clear structure and a well thought out pacing, so it is evident how each exercise fits into the class sequence. In addition, she varies her lessons, so over time you get a comprehensive workout. With Elsa, you will feel and see results. Elsa is a Pilates instructor par excellence!"
